The United Nations Command Joint Security Area (JSA) is a small, circular area in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between North and South Korea. The JSA is also known as the Truce Village of Panmunjom.
The JSA is controlled by the U.S.-led United Nations Command on the southern side and North Korea on the northern side. The JSA is known for its blue conference buildings and a thin concrete line that separates soldiers from both Koreas. Other features of the JSA include the Bridge of No Return and the Dorasan Observatory.
