Sebastián Monsalve is an architect from Medellín, Colombia, prominent in the fields of urban design and landscape architecture. He graduated from the National University of Colombia, founder of the CAUCE office and Co-founder of the LATITUD workshop office. He currently works as a teacher at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín) and as an advisor to the government of Antioquia.
He has been a lecturer, guest professor and jury member at the Catholic University of Córdoba (Argentina), Belo Horizonte (Brazil) and Montevideo, Salto (Uruguay).

His Most Relevant Project; Parque Botánico Río Medellín, was recognized with first place in the category of parks and recreational areas at the II Latin American Biennial of Landscape Architecture, Monsalve also won awards in the Future Project, WAFX Water and Master Plan categories of the World Architecture Festival 2018, recognized as a new sustainable infrastructure at the XII Latin American Infrastructure Leadership Forum organized by IDB – CAF – FDN and winner of the Karl Brunner Prize for Urban Design and Landscaping at the XXVII Colombian Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (2020), among others.

During his professional career he has won 11 contests, of which 6 are public and 4 private, he has 3 second places, two third places and 4 honorable mentions.

Other projects in which they have been recognized are the Sports, Recreational and Cultural Center of the Fontanar del Río Park in Bogotá, the UIMIST Hospital Unit, the Arts and Crafts Park and the El Carmen de Viboral Educational Park.
